The Return of the Queen

Success belongs to Carly Booth as well as a smile. This Scottish professional smiled a lot last year when she won Tipsport Czech Ladies Open as her third title at Ladies European Tour and the first one after seven years.

This year she returns to defend her life goal in Beroun. “It was certainly the most important victory in my career. I felt happy to the top,” said 28-year-old former sport gymnast from Comrie.

With the victory in a Czech tournament she only confirmed her position among the greatest stars of women’s golf. She entered professional league when she was only seventeen which was a record in that time, later beaten by Klára Spilková.

A daughter of a fighter and also a member of a music club security staff where Beatles used to play, she inherited both physical and mental strength thanks to which she never gives up. And the everlasting smile? She was born on the first day of summer after all.

The more time had passed since her two victories in Switzerland and Scotland in 2012 the easier it was to sort Carly Booth as an ex-star. But she did not give up. Robert Rock was among those who helped her back. This Englishman still plays the European Tour but also already trains his colleagues such as Lee Westwood. In Carly he found once again the champion and queen we can see this year once more.
