More champions on Tipsport Czech Ladies Open

In exactly two months, the golfers will start the final round of the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open 2022 and the participation field of the tournament gets more and more interesting contours.

Tournament Ladies European Tour in Beroun is filled with names of the champions, who will compete from 24th – 26th June in front of the crowd and O2 TV cameras for prize money in total 200 000 EUR.

An excellent start on the European tour confirmed Klára Spilková. Long time Czech number one and the winner of LET 2017 in Morocco is playing this year American Epson Tour. She will return to Beroun golf field at the beginning of summer, where she finished in 2020 close to TOP 10, as a best Czech player.

Fresh champion from participants is Meghan MacLaren. A British player won her third Ladies European Tour tournament this Sunday and it was for the third time in „Down Under“ country, at Australian Ladies Classic.

Another new participant is Amy Boulden, who won her title in the Swiss Ladies Open in 2020. Professional player from Wales played in Beroun at Ladies European tour 2 years ago and she participated at other Czech tournaments which are part of Ladies European tour too.

Another representative of Wales is happy to return to the Czech Republic, Becky Brewerton. At the beginning of April she was the leading player in the final round at the South African Women´s Open. Although she did not reach the play-offs, third place showed the return of the European number one of 2009.

Swedish player Camilla Lennarth makes her comeback this year. The winner of the Slovak Ladies Open has Tipsport Czech Open 2022 also in her tournament schedule.

Kristýna Napoleaová holds excellent results from the home players, who after second place in Saudi Arabia and ninth place at Joburg Open went through the cut twice in other LET tournaments. First cut of her short professional career was made by Tereza Melecká at the Joburg Open. Into the final rounds at South African Women’s Open qualified Šideři Váňová. Tereza Koželuhová recently passed the cut at the LET Access Series in Terre Blanche in France. She will play in 14 days with the above-mentioned players, the first European tournament of the Ladies European Tour series in Madrid in Spain. 

Tipsport Czech Ladies Open 2022 will be one of the first professional participations from Sára Kousková. As an amateur, she won the LET Access Series in Konopiště last year, and on Sunday she won the NCAA Big 12 conference finals with the team University of Texas.
