The 2026 edition of the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open has come to a successful close, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making it such a memorable event. Our partners, volunteers, players, fans, officials, suppliers, media representatives and the entire organising team – thank you for being part of this year’s tournament on the Ladies European Tour.
This year’s event was marked by exceptionally high temperatures, which presented a significant challenge for everyone involved. We therefore appreciate even more the dedication, professionalism and cooperation of all those who helped ensure the tournament ran smoothly and created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the week.
From an organisational perspective, the tournament was a great success. Royal Beroun Golf Club was presented in outstanding condition, the television production and live broadcasts reached their highest standard to date, and our extensive media campaign once again helped raise the profile of the tournament both in the Czech Republic and internationally.
The sporting action also produced some unforgettable moments. For the first time in the eight-year history of the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, the winner was decided in a playoff. Finland’s Noora Komulainen defeated Sweden’s Lisa Pettersson and Australia’s Justice Bosio after all three players finished the tournament at 18-under-par, setting a new tournament scoring record. The victory also marked Noora Komulainen’s maiden Ladies European Tour title after fourteen seasons as a professional.
The performances of the Czech players were another highlight of the week. Sára Kousková was the leading Czech professional, finishing in a share of 20th place after an excellent final round. In total, five Czech players made the cut – alongside Sára Kousková, Jana Melichová, Lucie Váchová, Patricia Macková and Tereza Zapletal Koželuhová – once again demonstrating the growing strength of Czech women’s golf.
